    I worked at Harris full-time

    Pros

Great opportunities for advancement and professional growth. Supervisors care about employees and treat them with respect. Very stable place to work. Nature of the work is both interesting and helps society out in a way that leads to a high level of job satisfaction.

    Cons

Constantly being asked to juggle more and more things at once can sometimes be overwhelming. 24/7 operations means having to work on weekends and holidays.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Keep up the good work.

In the seven years that I worked for Harris, I was presented with multiple opportunities to better myself as an employee and a person.

I worked at Harris full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

I feel that the biggest "pro" in my experience with Harris Corporation was job satisfaction. I felt valued as an employee by my management, associate contracts and military leadership. Being recognized and awarded for my efforts and achievements always made me want to work that much harder.

    Cons

I honestly can't really think of any "cons" in regards to Harris. I was presented with multiple opportunities to remain with the company and even elevate my position but, in my personal life, it was time to make the move. Were I not engaged, I wouldn't have left the company.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep up the good work. I hope that Harris continues to grow.

Great company to work for overall. From a support staff standpoint you're rather stuck in your position.

I worked at Harris full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

There are plenty of perks including a 9/80 schedule. Generous vacation policy and tuition reimbursement. Good work/life balance.

    Cons

Disconnected management from the lower tiers of the company. The company has good values and seems to be headed in the right direction.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay more attention to the people who work for you. They truly are your greatest asset. Try to find a balance between the bottom line and the employees. Poor employee moral is a definite sign of the decline of any company.

    Pros

Flexible schedules. Freedom to work on projects as you see fit. Opportunities to travel.

    Cons

Support is sometimes needed and not there. Status as an employee is based more on pieces of paper then on skill set.

    Pros

Colaboration rules. Nice, smart people, nurturing environment. Good benefits (so far).

    Cons

New CEO doesn't seem to be able to connect with the government side of the corporation. Nasty changes may be right around the corner

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Division management is super, I would follow them into battle. Corporate management seems only interested with stock price and multi million bonus.
