    Pros

It's an o.k. place to work. If you like a easy job.

    Cons

Being part time sucks because you never have definite hours. All you do is ring and bag, ring and bag, ring and bag everyday and it makes the days seem long, and boring.

    Pros

Great job, especially for college students. They work with you when it comes to your schedule. Easy work. Always good to get an added discount on groceries. Co-workers are often young and fun. Managers can be fun as well. Didn't use many of there benefits but I believe they were good. Best thing is the profit bonus check!! Twice a year

    Cons

Really trying to think of the cons, only thing I can say is obviously the standing can get painful (I have flat feet), they did have pads but sometimes it was pointless.

    Advice to Management

Keep it up. Since s lot of students work there, offer better help with college. Help students get back in college.

    Pros

The pay is reasonable for what I do. Most direct store management is friendly to you (albeit this may not apply to all stores). Hours are flexible and they work around your availability.

    Cons

Lots of drama. Harris Teeter (and I'm sure many other stores as well) creates an environment in which teenagers have power over other teenagers and sometimes adults.

    Advice to Management

You guys do a pretty good job. I wish you wouldn't be so laid back about employees who are regularly late however.

    Pros

Bonus checks 2x a year. Some nice co workers.

    Cons

Poor management. Store Managers who never leave the office and run the store by screaming on the radio all day. Lack of sufficient labor. Often only 2 people working the deli counter. Trying to cover the counter, sub station and keeping the hot bar filled while making sure you keep the free samples full so you don't fail your mystery shop. NEVER any help when it gets busy or you fall behind. Cut labor and still expect model store conditions at all times. No room for error or you quickly written up, except if your the managers favorites who get to wander the store with their cell phone all day.

    Advice to Management

Managers need to set an example and should not be above the rules. If they want people to be on time for work they should be also. They should also walk around the store instead of cowering in the office all day barking orders. Corporate should come sit in the parking lot and listen to the in inappropriate conversations that occur over the walkee talkee everyday. Does not make for a very comfortable work environment.
