    Pros

Plenty of clients and steady work flow. Challenging and interesting work. Partners spend ample time training those who are willing to do what it takes to succeed. Awesome commission based pay.

    Cons

A tough environment for those who are not self-motivated, and who have trouble meeting deadlines.

    Pros

Excellent training. You will handle a lot of work. Figure prosecuting 20-25 US/foreign office actions a month or 40-50 apps a year. There is great emphasis placed on quality and consistency of work. Much better than I have seen at other firms. Also, salary was good. Basically 40 percent of billed amount.

    Cons

Oppressive environment. Management likes to pretend that they are easy going and that there is a laid back work environment. NOT SO!!!! The admin staff was completely stressed out and constantly threatened with discipinary action. One secretary was actually forced by the office manager to sign a letter stating that the secretary would not think bad thoughts about her job! The attorneys were not treated much better. There was a very highly level of anxiety about making a mistake or displeasing a client. If a mistake was made, whether or not it was the attorney's fault, the attorney was held responsible and punished. Escalating work load. You were always expected to exceed your previous goal. If you didn't, you really weren't trying hard enough.

    Advice to Management

Seek therapy. You really aren't as nice as you think you are.

    Pros

great company culture, people are very friendly and willing to help snacks/drinks provided for free in the kitchen great opportunities to advance within the company boss takes new employees/interns out for lunch every now and then

    Cons

some of the bosses will take "sides" and punish new employees based on the "word" of veterans, without even asking your side of the story

    Advice to Management

please learn to listen to your ALL your employees, not just your veterans
