    Pros

    - Staff discount of 33% - Looks good on CV - Decent pay for retail

    Cons

    - Treated terribly as a temp. Many other temps fired unfairly for the smallest slip-ups that Harrods could never get away with firing a permanent staff for, and a lot of temps had their contracts terminated early (due to overstaffing on Harrods' part) with only a days notice. - No commission, unlike the permanent staff - Temps generally put on all the late shifts, so finish work at 9:30pm every day

    Advice to Management

Some of the best work experience I have ever had. Long and hard but well worth it!

    Pros

Nice colleagues. Nice setting expectations. Safe work environment.

    Cons

Very poor management styles. No progression or appreciation for hard work. Personal development is very limited and surrounded with non sense rules...

    Advice to Management

Get rid of the old schools who have been in senior positions for over 15 years or hire newer generations to educate them!

    Pros

Great people, good courses available in the Learning and Development Department.

    Cons

Not all teams are rewarded for their hard work in the same way.

    Pros

Can't think of any, location is good but everything else isn't.

    Cons

It's like a prison as all staff had to go through this boot camp entrance and putting everything away before they enter the building. The Human Resource team treated people like dirt and always have an attitude of "if you don't do what we ask you to do we have other people to replace you". Awful

    Advice to Management

Train your management team and the head office staff, just because you have a brand doesn't mean you have to treat staff like this.
