    Benefit watch out

    Account Director (Current Employee)
    Austin, TX

ProsCompensation is fair, people are friendly and open to input. Lots of smart minds work at hh. Access to other company capabilities and over all family oriented,

ConsWith benefits, your need to assess how much of a salary bump you will actually get here. Benefits are not competitive at all.

Advice to Senior ManagementLook at bringing your benefits out the dark ages. Short term disability needs to be added!

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

ProsThe best reason to work here was that there was always ppl leaving so you could move up.

ConsThe pay was no good you also had to work weekends. Most of the times you had to work weekends.

    Horrible

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)
    Austin, TX

ProsExcellent Health Insurance. Compensation is decent enough while you look for another job.

ConsVery unprofessional, high school like working environment. Managers showing favoritism, fraternizing including dating direct reports and then retaliating against them when the relationship sours. HR couldn't care less.

Advice to Senior ManagementPay attention to what managers are doing. You are losing good employees because of bad managers.

You'll only work there if you're desperate.

    Team Manager (Former Employee)
    Austin, TX

ProsThe only pro here is to get some paid training to do quality work for someone else. Working with the Microsoft program can teach you enough to get a real IT job somewhere else.

ConsThe pay here is ridiculously low - unfair to the employees. The hours are long and unforgiving, and the expectations compared to the pay is an outright travesty. No way should people get treated this way.

    Worst Sales Job Ever

    Sales Representative (Former Employee)
    Austin, TX

ProsLuckily I had a pretty laid back and cool manager.

ConsBonus caps out at 300 a month.
    Low base.
Closed over 100k in sales for one month and only got a 300 dollar bonus plus 12 an hour.
    Bathrooms smell.
    Break room is always dirty.
Ants were always on my desk.
The account manager was the worst human being I have ever worked with and belittled employees.

Advice to Senior ManagementTreat your employees better or the good ones will leave and for goodness sake with someone closes 100k in a full sales cycle for one month pay them more than 300 dollars.
Put air fresheners in the restrooms.

    Social Media Department

Social Media Support Specialist (Former Employee)
    Austin, TX

ProsA good place to get started out of college.

ConsHigh turn over rate. There is no room for growth. A woman hit her one year and her raise was so pathetic she quickly left. They don't want to pay you anything over your 40 hrs. If you clock in too early or out too late you will be penalized and then force flexed at the end of the week. It is a work environment in which no one truly cares who you are as a person and what work you are completing.

Advice to Senior ManagementStop over working your Account Managers. They have so many pointless tasks to handle daily that they cannot even manage their employees properly.
