Potential for great work, poor senior management

Assistant Account Executive (Current Employee) Chicago, IL

ProsEveryone is very helpful and Havas has the tools to be a very successful agency.

ConsCommunication is extremely poor between upper management and the "worker bees"
There is no process, no reviews and no trust in the decision makers

Advice to Senior ManagementStop hanging your hat on being "transparent," it is clear that you have no idea what that means. Interact with your employees on a personal level to create a trust. Don't hire more senior people (we are top heavy as it is) to fix the problems YOU created.

    PR company entrepreneurial and quirky

Vice President, PR (Former Employee) New York, NY

ProsDid great great work, ran my own show, got strong encouragement and definitely loved the exposure to clients who treated me like I was a real advisor. Havas PR has GREAT clients. And with pro bono mixed in you get great experience.

ConsThe agency feels disorganized at times and lives in the shadow of massive health brands but this didn't change award winning outcomes. So its more a con day2day than a big deal.

ProsGood and friendly people works there. They have good UX team.

ConsYou may expect to be fired anytime even you are full-time employee, working overtime, and showing high quality work. Sometime they have less work, and they need to cut resource.

    Fox News of Leadership

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsGreat city to live in. Great area. Great ad community.

ConsThe MD and his minions are part of a great manipulation disguised as "telling the truth" to their underlings. There is no truth, only revenue. There is no agency management, they are more a cult than anything else. There is revenue b/c everyone is worked like a dog. Don't mistake "honesty" for the clever form of manipulation that it is. All that follow the leader are part of the scam or too dumb to understand their being fooled as well.

Advice to Senior ManagementClean house from the top down. It's time to cash in on all the plundering your pirate in command has done.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
