    Pros

Everyone is so nice! It's a lovely community to be a part of. Very respectful. Working as a writing tutor was very rewarding.

    Cons

The compensation as a first year working student was not very high, but compared to other student jobs at other colleges, it is much better than it could be!

    Pros

Excellent bosses, pretty easy going, and good pay. You can really find a job that's a good fit for you.

    Cons

Some of the positions are a lot more intensive than other student positions, but everyone makes the same salary. Students working in low intensity jobs have time to do homework while on the clock. But this is not really a con.

I have been working at Haverford College full-time

    Pros

    Consensus is a community ideal.

    Cons

The aim to be inclusive and attentive to diverse points of view can lead to obstruction and manipulation of process.

    Advice to Management

The infrastructure for systems - accounting, maintenance, administrative support - is currently too lean and in spots, broken. Salaries for all staff are sub-par. The College is stingy with staff other than faculty and offers very little in the way of positive feedback.

    Pros

-Flexible (when i had to go due to an emergency, they were totally fine with it) -Autonomy over my work (i didn't have to ask what to do every day) -Friendly staff

    Cons

-it is a little quiet -little face-to-face interaction with other employees

    Advice to Management

i think the management at Haverford College's library was great. Everyone communicated clearly and was good to work with.

    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

Student workers at Haverford get paid more than their Bryn Mawr counterparts. We also seem to have more positions available.

    Cons

As a student worker, not much. However, full-time staff workers do not seem to have much communication with administration and upper management. Things are always delayed and changing.

    Advice to Management

Please listen to your employees and students, and then be proactive.
