    Pros

Great place to learn multiple skills. HR and Management always willing to listen and help. They allow you to advance as your skills grow.

    Cons

Very few cons. Some favoritism, Rules apply to some and not others in a few cases.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be aware of what is going on with your employees. Don't let one employee single out another and attempt to get them fired.

I have been working at Hayward Industries full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Company has good people in the workforce. Actual workers are hard and dedicated

    Cons

Management is clueless. There is no salary review process. Everyone, no matter of work done and accomplishments made, are you given a 2 to 3 percent annual raise. Not based on performance. Company has multiple plants across the U.S. and Europe....each plant runs like an individual company. Has the right hand not talking to the left syndrome. Pay is highly under average market rate. May be due to it's a privately owned company.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat employees equally. Create a salary review process based on performance and achievements. Person who just does what they have to vs. someone w ho goes above and beyond should receive appropriate rewards and raises based upon every other company in the workforce. Human resources is just a ghost of a department. The only administer benefits vs helping employees. 90% of the workforce are there because they need a job not because they love their job.

I have been working at Hayward Industries full-time

    Pros

Positive office culture, with little in the way of office intrigue. Management is steadily raising the bar and the results show. Great coworkers and management.

    Cons

The Elizabeth HQ location and office building are very so-so. The office is not fancy at all, and the carpeting needs replacing in areas. This is scheduled to happen later this year (yes!).

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep blending the knowledge of veteran employees with the skill sets of newcomers. The results can be great!
