I have been working at Health Resources Alliance full-time

    Pros

working and meeting new people each day. Helping others perform their job better and safer. Getting to see different parts of the country.

    Cons

Hard to move up the ladder. Pay is low compared to other companies that perform the same job. Too many bosses.

    Advice to Management

Keep and trust in the good work that your employees do. Just because someone is in a supervisor position doesnt make everything they say as true. You should get all the facts before making decisions.

Current Employee - Occupational Therapist in Hartford, CT

    Pros

I love my coworkers and the building. HRA has multiple buildings in the area, and that helps when one building is low or busy as people in nearby buildings can offer help.

    Cons

It is very busy. The productivity rate is pretty high and sometimes I do not have enough time to finish my paperwork.

    Advice to Management

Less minutes for treating and more time for paperwork.

    Current Employee - OTR/L

    Pros

-Competitive salary and benefits package. -Beautiful facility -Management tries their best to satisfy employees.

    Cons

-High productivity requirements. -Not enough time to finish all paperwork. -More resources/materials would be nice for my particular facility.

    Advice to Management

Non therapy management can be better at gaining knowledge related to supervision/expectations of COTAs and PTAs from OTRs and RPTs in order to better answer questions, settle conflicts in more a timely manner, and educate staff better about their specific roles as needed.
