    Pros

    HealthNow really motivates employees to follow its CORE values - RESPECT, PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY, EXCELLENCE, TEAMWORK, PASSION, & INTEGRITY. Management/Leadership team really puts each employees in a position to be successful with great teamwork and collaboration. HealthNow also provides great working environment and all the staffs/employees are really friendly.

    Cons

    Bonuses and raises are few and far between. Sometimes, it feels like there is a lack of proper management and leaderships.

    I worked at HealthNow New York full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

    Benefits are very good, pay is competitive. PTO is beyond generous. Free parking. Beautiful building. Onsite Fitness Center - inexpensive and convenient. Also, many of us could work from home once or twice a week, which was nice.

    Cons

    Some growing tension / conflict between certain departments, which negatively impacts teamwork and morale.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Make it a priority to have departments collaborate. We are all working toward the same goal. Try team-building events between departments to boost morale and encourage teamwork.

    Pros

    People are terrific.
    Health insurance is good for family coverage
    Flexible work hours and work from home which is handy if you have kids or special needs.

    Cons

    Lack of career direction and they this is after they are trying to improve employee engagement. Few are promoted.
    PTO- if you don't negotiate you only get 2 weeks.
    Small raises and bonuses even after good performance.

    Lots of potential talent in ranks.

    Cons

    Leadership can't get act together. Even with new CEO leadership is lacking in ranks. They won't allow people to do their job and do it better to grow company. Everyone waiting to be told what to do. IT is running people off right and left!

    Let your managers do their job. Create a safe environment to allow new ideas to be explored. You'd be surprised what potential you have!

    I have been working at HealthNow New York

    Pros

    They first started you off with a computer automated test to see your skills in typing and handling customer discrepancies. Then next step was meeting with two managers which they made me feel comfortable. They went back and fourth asking typical questions, then went onto the next hiring manager and same questions were asked. Then it was onto doing a mock phone call. After that there was a meeting with the supervisor which she made the interview comfortable and asked pretty much the same questions. They also went into detail about the job description, their policies as well as what they expect of an employee. I was also able to sit on the floor and watch the reps answer the phones and listen in to the calls

    Cons

    There wasn't any cons for me they were all very professional and gave a detailed and realistic view of the job.

    Pros

    Work life balance is great especially with the work from home policy. The corporate culture also supports healthy living and being active in the community. Great technical challenges are present as well - expect to learn new things every day.

    Cons

    The industry is challenging with the recent legislative changes so expect to be working on multiple projects at once (although this is not necessarily a Con - most people here like a challenge)

    Pros

    this is place for people who prefer laid back jobs and want to enjoy their life with their families ..They have very flexible work from home policy .They embrace all latest technologies and give you ample opportunities to cross train you in areas of your interest.
    If you are on h1b this is the right place to get in .They will sponsor your GC when you are nearing last 18 months of your h1b but you need patience dealing with HR.But they are slowly getting better on GC thing.

    Cons

    1) Career growth is not so great.You are most likely to get stuck in the same position for years.
            2) Forget about bonus.This may depend on the market
            3)Slow in GC process for immigrants

    identify real talent and encourage them by good benefits.Revise your salary structure matching the market value
