    Pros

Great for a starting manager. This company will give you a chance. Good job for college grads. Great flexibility for family life. Would recommend for a friend if they were starting out or desperate.

    Cons

Long term care sucks. Everyone constantly complains and never appreciates anything you do. You have to bend over backwards for clients who walk all over you and you have to take it.

    Advice to Management

Pretend like you care about us. We run your business.

    Pros

Corporate set up with available resources. Upper management has a presence and willing accommodate the needs of the workers related to vacation coverage, support in the field if needed.

    Cons

Kitchen staff cuts to bare minimum which creates high turnaround secondary to increased work load and shorter hours. High turn around and continuity of care may suffer. Additional training needed which may not always be available.

    Advice to Management

Minimum wage jobs performed by loyal workers should have a bonus structures that encourage them not to call in. yearly 1500 dollar bonus to those who do not miss one day. each day missed cost them 150$ in bonus money. after ten days call in no bonus. Continuity of care is important especially when related to nutrition.

    Pros

If you need to get Management experience you can get hired. If in the union wages as a hourly & benefits are good.

    Cons

Very little training for management often times hire on the fly. Housekeepers, laundry & floor techs often time make very little money and are not always treated fairly. No supplies & broken equipment you are expected to make do. Not qualified managers making decisions.

    Advice to Management

I was a District Manager for 5 years for HCSG. I was underpaid compared to what other companies make. Expected to make money on unrealistic budgets. Bonus is a joke never do you get 100% the criteria is unrealistic. HIRE A MARKETING COMPANY. Why would you expect me to do marketing? I had 20 accounts as a DM how could I function? DM's are expected to be on call 24 hrs. Work on Sundays and do payroll & projections work from home after putting in 8 to 10 hours do a unit inspection hire managers for a joke of a salary. You are so top heavy in management Divisional VP's make $183,000???? When you barely pay the little guy above minimum wage. You want DM's to sign a Arbitration Agreement. You deserve to be sued for the shady practices you do! I watched people being used & abused promises made but never delivered. Lay people off because you lost contracts. Cut workers wages because they make to much money and have people fired because they have insurance. Yep all of this happens, but when you want to discipline someone you have to go through HR but right under there noses is immoral things going on. What about the 1,00's of dollars that are spent on "entertaining clients"?? They are nothing more than drink fests. Sports tickets us little guys never saw those entertaining clients yeah right! How about the joke of a non compete you pick & choose who to go after. 10 years from now you will of run the business into the ground.

    Pros

It's an okay paycheck but not great. You do have some managers who do support you but they are limited by micromanagement of others. Company does offer benefits however you must wait two years to get them (Account Manager).

    Cons

Underpaid for all positions except for District Managers on up. The less money and labor you use goes towards upper management's bonus. Unreal expectations of line workers because they are paid 7.25. Raises are far and few between and promises are made and are not fulfilled. Company ran by salesmen who could not run their program they preach to you. You have little supplies, little budget and too high demands. Upper management and the salesmen brag about the company and their potential but it is all smoke and mirrors. Administrators hate the company and culture. Company has no real assets so do not buy into its BS. If you need a job fine but if you are a professional the only way you love up is being the loop. Not to mention all the unnecessary paperwork and meetings. Lastly upper management, why don't you try and clean toilets with a tie on? Must be nice to enjoy those bonuses we bust our butts for for you to enjoy. You guys suck, period.

    Advice to Management

Increase your supply budget and pay employees better to compete with other companies. You cannot expect high your scores with 7.25 employees. Start paying account managers better with benefits and bonuses like upper management gets. Give managers more support because they are overworked. If you want administrators to like the company, stop the used car salesman approach and take care of business. Upper management stop using all the lower managers to take flak for you!
