If no choice, good place to pay the bills.

ProsGood co-workers, very nice building.

ConsOutrageously disproportionate upper management's salaries (publicly disclosed as per SEC).
IT department (although there are a few good elements) is sadly retrogressive, dragging the company back to the 70's and overloading employees due to inefficiencies that could be easily avoided with willingness. Some influential mid-manager seem to have a very serious case of Inferiority Complex and great skills to tease good employees. Sad.

Advice to Senior ManagementNo worthy.

Could be so much more, a company you want to get behind but can't"

Engineering (Former Employee)
El Paso, TX

I worked at Helen of Troy full-time for more than 5 years

ProsPeople: caring people, hard workers, taking care of each other. Company used to celebrate so much more with the employees at holidays, but that has fallen off.

ConsNeed logistics leadership. Can't hire someone who says they know what they are doing, need a strategic thinker with innovation as a key part of their mindset. No strategy, just get it shipped no matter what! Learn how to manage inventory

Advice to Senior ManagementBring in a VP that is innovative to take on logistics. The problem is not the product, it's getting that product to the customer. Also, get back to your classic holiday parties, that's one of your biggest perks!!!
