Pros

Henderson has a great corporate culture with a forward thinking and entrepreneurial meritocracy that actively supports its employees and their careers.

Cons

Salary and total compensation leave something to be desired. Their is very little opportunity for advancement and the office location is not ideal.

Compensation both basic and bonuses are miserly. Company spends lots of money on unnecessary things while it tries to scrimp and save on important stuff. Extremely UK-centric in its worldview. Slow and frustratingly insular place to work in.

Advice to Senior Management

Start firing some of the fossilized old-timers who are standing in the way of progress. Nobody makes a lot of money by staying conservative and timid. Take calculated risks! Nobody's asking you to be reckless but a company that stays still too long usually finds itself made redundant by faster, more decisive rivals.

Pros

Henderson is a great place to work, especially in the IT department. Cutting edge technology and the ability to respond and move quickly make for a dynamic and interesting place to work. Benefits are extremely good and the working environment is very relaxed.

Cons

Sometimes it's too relaxed for employees own good.

I think senior management are doing a great job in difficult times.
