I worked at Henry M. Jackson Foundation full-time for more than 8 years
Pros – - Excellent health benefits that allow several options to choose from for lifestyle (PPO to HSA)
- Excellent retirement benefits that get even better the longer you work for the company
- Inclusion of those that know your work in your annual evaluation
- highly competitive salary base
- recognition of hard work
- non-profit organization committed to military medicine & research
Cons – - middle management was lacking (if site problematic, it wasn't clear who to go to)
- once contract was ending, there wasn't any assistance in other job placements
Advice to Senior Management – Please bid on more contracts at Fort Detrick!
