    Pros

Good work environment. DC is a fantastic place to live in, specially if you're young.

    Cons

No vacations for consultants (it's up to your boss), no benefits either

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Performance evaluation should be more important. Hiring by experience and education not simple "recomendations"

I worked at Heriot-Watt University full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Non discrimination, high quality of teaching materials

    Cons

Companies values are perfect and we had several work shops on that issue. paid leave and allowances are perfect.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I may suggest that for the non British professors who are working in different campuses, if the University management can help to get the British citizenship, it will help them for sustainable grow in terms of sustainable academic members. For example, I left there just for the reason of leaving in the US and become an America citizen. If they guarantied that after some certain years by law, I would become a British citizen, then definitely, I never left the University.

I have been working at Heriot-Watt University full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros
