Pros – Flexible for time off for family emergencies
Cons – No leadership from senior administration. Director of Nursing is everyone's friend, only as good as the last person who speaks to him. Tells everyone what they want to hear so no one will get mad at him. Never in his office, spends the entire day in the therapy room talking with the therapists. Does not follow up with discipline according to contract for CNA's and LPN's.
Advice to Senior Management – A new administrator and Director of Nursing is needed as you need strong individuals in those positions who follow up on issues and are not afraid to follow the contract. There is no need for an assistant director of nursing for a 85 bed facility. By eliminating the excess management position they would not have to continue to cut floor staff, leaving resident care to suffer.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
