Former Employee – worked at Heritage Paper full-time for more than 7 years
Pros – Performance incentives (in the form of pay, special events, etc.), fast-paced and efficient workplace, good upper management, and lots of good team energy to break the monotony of warehouse and assembly-line labor.
Cons – This is warehouse and assembly-line labor at the end of the day. The work is hard and the work is monotonous, but someone has to do it, and Heritage compensated well to have the work done. Low-level management has been poor at times, but that position has been a revolving door. The general workforce is fairly temporary, as well.
Advice to Senior Management – Keep incentivizing and keep energy high while maintaining safe practices and chasing higher efficiency levels.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend

Former Employee – worked at Heritage Paper
Pros – Heritage Paper is a small company which provides many opportunities to learn. The vertical transparency creates a positive work environment for all.
Cons – Due to the rather small nature of the business, movement within the business is limited to other staff members leaving.
Advice to Senior Management – Keep expanding and pushing the limits of the packaging business. If the ideals of the management team could be effectively passed to the lower to mid level employees, this business would be perfect.

Current Employee – been working at Heritage Paper
Pros – The Industry is very interesting and constantly changing. The company is growing and expanding. The employees are dedicated and very nice.
Cons – Bad location. No company frills, perks, 401k matching or bonuses. The management is male dominated and prone to family & close friend promoting. No regular reviews or raises.
Advice to Senior Management – It would be good to see the management take as much interest in taking care of employees as much as they do company expansion.
