I worked at Hertz full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The Pros from this job are simple: Overtime and driving nice cars. It's very fast paced. You can be a manager trainee or train your manager depending on your location.

    Cons

High employee turn-around is an understatement. you can easily get burnt out if you are not careful. Some slower locations set employees up for failure.

    Advice to Management

Promote people who deserve it. Do not promote people who just kiss up to senior level management. Some people are put into locations which the managers aren't prepare to manage.

    Cons

Hard to reach incintives, very stressful work days, job achievements seam more easily attainable and more appealing than they actually are.

    Advice to Management

Find more professional ways to express the importance of making certain expectations and when mistakes are made. Positivity is much more understandable and produces more productive reponses from your employees.
