    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Consider paying college graduates more than $10.50 an hour. It is insulting to require a degree for this position and then not even pay a living wage. I have been paid more working at grocery stores in high school. It is also ridiculous to require your employees to wear business attire and then have us cleaning out cars in 100 degree weather in the back of an auto body shop. Your only solution to this was to bring multiple changes of clothing to work. As a recent college graduate, how can you expect someone who has been spending much more money than they have been making in order to get an education to possess an entire wardrobe of professional business wear or to invest in one only to drench every shirt in sweat and suck every tie up in a vacuum cleaner?

I have been working at Hertz full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

This is a relatively easy going work place. The experience is great, especally if you look to be any type of entrpreneur in the future. The bonuses are pretty good if you work hard at it.

    Cons

The base salary is HORRIBLE. There are customers who will complain about the smallest things that honestly are unavoidable in the business, and upper management will not support you. They will blame you and call it "service failure".

I have been working at Hertz full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

I love working for Hertz because I get a free car(no car note/no insurance premiums), free gas(what does per gallon even mean), free trips and banquets and to the top it off, Hertz offers unlimited monthly bonus potential.

    Cons

The only con depends on your motivation and success to be the best. This is a competitive sales-driven environment so it may not be for everyone.

I have been working at Hertz full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Hertz is the largest rental car company in the world. Opportunity for growth is a big deal with Hertz. Upper management gives you the tools you need to grow as a manager. They also invest in personal growth as well. There are an abundant of management opportunities in operations and in other departments as well. Rather it be Sales, Human resources, recruiting or corporate training. Hertz also has a competitive culture amongst employees, which drives eye-popping results. Hertz allows you to run the business as if it was your own, and the monetary and career rewards are plentiful. After just graduating from college, where else can you make 6 figures 2 years into the job? I know of one place. Hertz.

    Cons

Because Hertz is such a large company, large changes within the company do take some time. However the communication that is disseminated down from upper management is transparent, and extremely positive.
