    Pros

A lot of downtime during the day. You become close with the people you work with. Get the chance to get out of the office when dropping off/picking up customers and cars.

    Cons

Long hours. Most locations understaffed so it's hard to take off days. They brag about these bonuses that we have yet to see. Customers are rude. Never have cars available and all upper management says is to push back people. They don't have to deal with the screaming.

I have been working at Hertz part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Easy job you clean cars mostly and drive customers to their home or repair shop. Sometimes it's quiet and you have a lot of down time. Sometimes it's busy it depends what location you work at. If you need a part time job with down time this would be it. Just make sure to have a GPS.

    Cons

It's hard cleaning cars outside in the summer time. Sometimes you have to drive far to bring a body damage vehicle to get fixed. It's just barely higher than minimal wage so nothing special. It's a dead end position really.

I have been working at Hertz full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Lots of hours and opportunities to make overtime, to really get fully immersed in a business, commission checks. Benefits and paid time off are a huge plus. Company car when you achieve Branch Manager status. Starting pay of $10/hr plus commission from day 1.

    Cons

Hours can be grueling if you aren't used to 50+ hours. Once you promote to Assistant Branch Manager you lose your commission and max pay for monthly branch bonus is about $300. Years past ABMs would get a branch bonus and commission with no limit. Feels like mistake agreeing to promotion.

    Advice to Management

Value your staff...incentives and extras should come with promotions...not the taking away of perks and incentives.

I worked at Hertz part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great company to work for fulltime with good benefits. This company also give you the ability to move up in the ranks very fast, since they hire within.

    Cons

High turnover, since you are not working directly within Hertz, but other company owned under the umbrella of Hertz. The job is very demanding and poorly ran. Environment was not too clean, with employees doing varies job at any given moment.

    Advice to Management

Clean up environment for the safety of the employees health
