    No pros about this company has poor management and they play favoritism to people who's been there for a long time so your opinion doesnt matter and it start with ........ You know who your are

    You put your life into a company that don't care about your hard work and dedication I don't know about all locations but sfo is the worst employee wise and customers to

    Advice to Management

    Management get it together you should not let employees who's been there treat new employees like crap because they have been there for a long time and management should not back that bad behavior and stop with the favoritism when most of them less work then everybody they just know management will back them up and for their payroll department is terrible they get you on your pay anything for the company pay close attention to your paycheck with sfo basically make a copy of your time sheet management will belittle you and use you up and let you go start writing you up for anything.

    Great coworkers and entry level sales experience.

    Understaffed. Way underpaid. Needs to have a bigger office.

    Opportunities for advancement are endless!! Hertz will help you to develop your skills and increase your knowledge on how to successfully run a business. This company has done a great job assembling a fun and competitive work environment that is appealing to any motivated individual. Once you have been promoted to the position of branch manager you not only have the freedom to run your operation, but also get to enjoy the perk of driving a company car.

    Pros

    There is fairly consistent turnover at Hertz in the middle management roles so promotions are a distinct possibility for strong performers. The promotion process is open and fair- all candidates go through the same kind of screening. The Hertz brand is incredibly strong in the Corporate arena which makes it an easier pitch to travel managers looking for corporate programs. Training was offered both in person and on line for a variety of subjects for all employees to take advantage of. Benefits were good- 3 weeks vacation at year 5.

    Cons

    Being a global company, it is sometimes difficult to get consistency across every rental location which can lead to service issues. The communication between brands (Hertz rental, Hertz Equipment) was not strong.

    Advice to Management

    Let people know internally when and why people leave the company (if appropriate). It was always a big secret and left room for speculation.

    Pros

    good group of people make it enjoyable to come to work despite the miserable hourly pay but for the most part it is fun

    Cons

    the pay isn't the greatest and the conditions arent the best when it comes to working in horrible weather conditions and the hiker vans need to be better equipped for safety

    no real management advice. you guys do a good job, but could treat employees better in a more respectful manner perhaps
