Cons

They don't seem to value their customers business objectives, just how much money they can generate for HP
Advice to Senior Management
There is no concern for the professionalism or pro-active approach to delivering high quality solutions, the focus is entirely on financial results. In this case, the cheaper the better. I've never worked with a less talented staff, and the quality of the off shore resources is pretty weak.
I've been with this group over a year and there's no signs that things will improve, very disappointing. I've had a few 5-7 years employment at several large companies and I'm surprised that working HP has been the worst of those experiences.
I've reached out to several old time HP staff that I've known over the years and it doesn't seem that it's better in other areas of the division.
Pros
Job Security. This company is in no danger of going out of business. Nice people and a "family" atmosphere. In spite of all the changes, the HP-Way still exists to some deress
Cons
Pay is rather low by comparison. Benefits not that great either. I had to wait at least a year before I could enroll in 401K. I think that has changed now.
Advice to Senior Management
None really. Now that Carly's gone, things are better. Itanium is a dead end but I think management knows that.
Pros
The people are great. Very good spirit.
Cons
Disorganized, hard to do business in the company
Advice to Senior Management
Get organized, improve procesess
