    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Hewlett-Packard full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great company to work for. Many training ops available. Tons of room for growth. Management mainly hands off as long as you are doing what is required.

    Cons

Too many tools and departments. The key is to build a go to list of contacts and product knowledge.

    Advice to Management

    Thank you!

    I worked at Hewlett-Packard full-time

    Pros

Every one in the group is very friendly and supportive in assisting new personnel in getting up to speed. They have a good work at home policy. Management is exemplary.

    Cons

It looks like that during hiring, management may be out of the loop as to the actual time frame when a new hire will be allowed to visit the customer site.

    Advice to Management

Try to get a better feel from upper management as to their long term plans in hiring and very large world wide layoffs.

    Pros

Great people! Everyone is willing to take the time to truly teach you and make sure you are comfortable. This experience has taught me so much about what my future could hold with the company.

    Cons

The interview was hard. I wasn't expecting as many technical questions. There is so much to take in the first few months it can be overwhelming if you don't manage your time.

    Pros

The hours are very flexible. The work is great and if you get stuck there is someone or a team to help.
