    Everybody gets along well - when you are selling you are very popular

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Please start qualifying the tours again, the reps need to sell to provide for their families yet corporate marketing insists on placing tours in front of you that don't have to be income qualified, this creates many demoralizing scenarios where they want to buy but cant because they are unemployed or cant afford anything extra in their budget.
    Please stop cherry-picking the tours that use gold, platinum cards for check in for the reps you love the most - the wheel should be fair not fixed.

    Pros

    Hotel discounts, competitive pay. A handful of their employees are true gems and this company is lucky to have them.

    Cons

    Management is unwilling to listen to employee feedback and suggestions.Supervisors and managers display blatant favoritism towards certain employees. No opportunity for growth. Employee benefits have lessened little by little every year, health insurance costs have increased significantly - but pay has not.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Listen to your employees - buying them lunch once or twice every six months does not make-up for the lack of true leadership. Stop playing favorites and treat all employees equally, and you may find that the "disgruntled" employees has very valuable suggestions and ideas to offer.

    only pro is possibility of good pay

    Cons

    chances of making good money are not realistic, lots of hang up clients, trying to sell timeshare packages in only one call, no follow up, the environment is not professional, lots of yelling and loud music playing all time makes it difficult for you to talk to customers professionally, only half hour lunch so have no time to go out and get something to eat, turn over must be high as I only stayed a few weeks and I saw three people quit, they are churning employees out of place like mad

    make environment more professional with less noise, let people wear jeans to work as we are not meeting customers face to face, let us do follow ups with people who might actually want to buy and not make sale in only one call as it is hard to sell vacation in only one call

    Pros

    You are able to build great relationships with your team, the pay for this department was not so bad, they offer great hotel perks and advancement is possible.

    Cons

    The rules are always changing, management does not treat everyone fairly. Management is great at picking and choosing when they want to enforce rules. As far as i'm concerned my department was the best all other departments have very low pay, micromanagement, most employees are scrambling to get out of there!

    Pros

    Employee benefit (travel accommodations) are GREAT. That's the main reason I've been with this company for almost two years.

    Cons

    Pay is horrible if you aren't in management. Short staffed a lot which meant having to work two departments to cover, but not being compensated for pay. No sick days (if you are sick you need to use your HARD EARNED vacation days.) Growth with the company only happens if you are a 'favorite' employee. If they don't like you good luck in growing.

    Keep up the work. At this rate all quality employees will jump ship.

    Great company to work for. Good reputation, nice resorts

    Cons

    Horrible leadership very unprofessional with high level of neputism which results in favoritism, and unfair practices. Leadership expects allot of attention. The family runs the show it's my way or the highway. I have worked for Hilton before this is not normal. I am surprised this is actually happening very disappointed. In my experience the place needs a shakeup the reputation is out, and the respect has declined.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Listen to your current, and departing employees reviews. This advice will support you in becoming better leaders. Stop the favoritism it is not acceptable in society today, and this is ruining your reputation. Being a fair, and professional leader is what employees expect from Hilton.

    Asia office in Tokyo. Handle Japanese owners on the phone.

    Text book training for 8 weeks. Nice year-off party.
