Good place to work for a short time

Restaurant Staff (Former Employee) Chicago, IL

ProsPeople were nice. The lobby of the hotel was impressive. It was easy to get used to the pace of work.

ConsDirect managers for front line staff weren't experienced enough to deal with a lot of the issues that came up every day. Bad customers were able to take advantage of low level managers.

Advice to Senior ManagementIncrease transparency on overtime. All kinds of weird stuff happens with overtime.

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee) Orlando, FL

ProsThis is a wonderful hotel to work at. Everyone is very friendly, and the pay is fairly competitive.

ConsDespite what they say, the management rarely promotes from within. There is a lot of job-hopping between the Hilton hotels in Orlando, as well as competitors.
