Hilton has great employee discounts for hotel stayss around the world. The brand is also recognized around the country recognized brand around the country

-Management makes you feel guilty for taking earned time off
-Feeling as if you are not appreciated for your hard work
- Underpaid (This is standard to the hotel industry, however, they are not necessarily competitive)

Be more respectful to your employees and SHOW that they are appreciated instead of just saying it in a non-genuine way.

Management needs to listen and not continually pound employess down who try to help. Fear or being shown up seems to be a real issue.

Visit properties unannounced or send a specially hired employee to quietly observe. We all cannot be wrong, right?
Pros
Certainly it depends from the property and management team how the things work among departments and people within, but it is definitely great starting place to learn hospitality traits and gain experience.

Again, it depends of the property, but things might not happen the way that you have in-visioned. It is slow and hard way up!

Communicate with subordinates of all levels and treat them as part of the team.

Test and re-test things before putting them in the "implementation" stage. Listen to employee and customer feedback. Continue to invest in your employees.
