I have been working at Hilton Worldwide full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Benefits. Discounted or free hotel stays. Work/life balance. Almost unlimited PTO. 10 holidays paid. Fill feel with coworkers and management. Spontaneous and Random Pizza Days. Offsite team building events. Recognition.

    Cons

Hotel assignments are not fairly chosen; seniority and high performance means nothing. It's all about playing politics and who complains the most.

    Advice to Management

    I love it here.

    Pros

The opportunity to be able to work from home was truly helpful when it came to not having to deal with the hassle of traffic.

    Cons

Just not interacting with co-worker daily sometimes. Of course there are events that take place on the campus but it is always fun to be able to see your co-workers and be able to discuss everyday business.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work

I have been working at Hilton Worldwide full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

They empower the Team Members to resolve guest issues with no repercussions. Your entire work experience is about the Guests and making the Team Members enjoy their job so that the guests will enjoy their experience.

    Cons

I've been in this business for a long time and I've never been treated better in my professional career.

    Advice to Management

    Thank you for the opportunities!

I worked at Hilton Worldwide full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Open lines of communication with all levels of management. Good benefits comparable to other companies. Ability to work from home in some cases. New(er) office in easy to access location with covered parking in parking deck.

    Cons

Pay was not they best. If you live in Dallas and drive the tollway to work the cost can get expensive. The alternative roads add a considerable amount of driving time from Uptown to Addison.

    Advice to Management

Consider tuition reimbursement for those wishing to return to an accredited college.

I have been working at Hilton Worldwide full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

One of the greatest aspects for working at Hilton Worldwide in Addison is the Office Environment and the unlimited resources that are within reach. Titles are not important and everyone chips in to make the success of the company a better performer. Training Content is wonderful. Benefits and Salary are some of the most competitive in the industry.

    Cons

Due to the rapid growth and recently becoming a publicly traded company there have been some increasing red-tape.

    Advice to Management

While the culture is truly amazing, there is a difference between superb friendly culture and necessity to push for performance. I would truly like to see some Mid-Level Management more involved in the active pushing of team members to perform at higher standards.

I have been working at Hilton Worldwide full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Huge amount of freedom to pursue good ideas, encourage responsible risk-taking, global company with interesting advancement paths, incredible culture - "hospitality" isn't just a buzzword.

    Cons

Only potential con is that Hilton is very large, very old, and very corporate, with all that entails. Depending on your temperament, those might actually be pros.

    Advice to Management

Faster performance recognition - once a year is too infrequent.
