I have been working at Hilton Worldwide full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Realize that my perspective is that of a Senior Director level position with HWW corporate- I imagine the reviews will vary according to role, location, etc. The corporate leadership for Hilton is, for the most part, outstanding. Those in C-level positions are smart, approachable and respectful- particularly in brand leadership and marketing. The perks are good, particularly if you like to travel, and the people around the world are fun to work with. There are some that are difficult, mostly legacy types, but not any more than anywhere else.

    Cons

It's a big company, so decisions can linger. There is quite a bit of arrogance with the Americas Sales operation- they think they're the elite of the company- and sometimes treat others that way- but that should be improving, as there's been a reorganization there. The team member travel discount program is pretty bad- there's a lot of talk to improve it. Compensation isn't especially high on average.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Pros

Brand new hotel with great potential and huge meeting spaces that can accommodate a lot of people for parties, weddings and businesses.

    Cons

Low pay and not the greatest management.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Do not listen to employees needs and cannot leave even though your sections are completed and have done more than enough of helping the other co-workers. A lot of times stay late and because you went overtime they reduce your hours for the week.
