Great Perks through Hilton. Beautiful Hotel sells itself.
Cons
Not that many positions to get promoted to. Opened Hotel & worked here for 3 years and did not recieve a review :(
Advice to Senior Management
Let your employees know you care. Have employee of the month ect.
Pros
Its a fun enviroment with close attachments to senior management and alot of upward movement.
Cons
A lack of professionalism by some employees, long hours, and a lack of a regular schedule.
Advice to Senior Management
Expansion and higher salaries fo lower management.
Pros
Some of the best reaons to work at the Hilton Sacramento is the Career opporunities when you work at the Hilton you can advance onto bigger and better work positions for Shift leader, to a manager to a supervisor then to a director
Cons
Occasionally there is poor communication between the Managers and the staff. Also you get all kinds of recognition when you do something wrong but when you do something right it seems like knowone notices
Advice to Senior Management
I would give the senior managment the advice to analyze situations more throughly before they jump to a careless conclusion
Pros
benefits, its just a paycheck, great co-workers, fun place to work when managers arent there.
Cons
MANAGEMENT is inept, do not care about entry level employees that are the face of the company.
No communication but they want excellent service by their standards which is a mystery if they dont talk to you. They love cutting labor hours yet expect half staff to give best service to guests. Aren't provided the right tools but are expected to look best.
Advice to Senior Management
communicate by talking to the actual person, and not thru other employees
easier to say than to do
hire some people than are social and aren't stoic
