    Pros

A global company with a long history and decent industry reputation for its products

    Cons

Poor reputation for how it treats its employees...Unless your are one of the chosen few, or part of the chosen group...you will only tread water no matter what your contributions, as your manager and others will take all the credit.
Accounting and IT get all the support and bennefits they need....yet the people that actually create sales, support sales and develop new products get the short end of the stick and are squeezed and given more procedural non sense that makes your job even more difficult. .

    Advice to Management

Promote , encourage, and recognize individual achievements and direct contributions to sales and growth of new product lines..and not so much to IT and accounting who don't drive or enable sales

    Pros

Lot of neat manufacturing equipment. Decent pay. The guys on the factory floor are all friendly and helpful.

    Cons

Low morale.. Everyone knows how awful fracking is for the planet but the company pays well so no one talks about it.

Office politics trumps work ethic. Offices feel very cliquish. Even the old men you think are in charge are just shuffling papers. Projects always changing. They give long term engineering projects to short term interns who often times aren't engineering students-

You are disposable . One day they'll tell you you're doing a great job and you're are getting a new project and an extended contract. Then two weeks later they tell you that project is dead and we have no use for you. Collect your things.

    Advice to Management

Listen to project leaders. They care about what is happening. If he tells you his project isn't getting attention from upper management don't fire him because he might have made you look bad.

Quit importing talentless interns just because they fit the look of your master race.

    Pros

    Salary and benefits are competitive.

    Cons

No leadership, no direction, ever changing plan except to cut their way to profitability, even better at hiring people with zero knowledge or experience. Not sure how they remain in business.

    Advice to Management

Get a clue and maybe read the survey responses that we waste so much time and money on each year.

    Pros

Good health insurance, good work hours

    Cons

Too many politics in the office everyone is out to stab everyone in the back. Management including HR are horrible. The person they have in HR needs to learn what HR really is. It's sad when you know more then she does and she doesn't even do her own work that she was hired for. All of the employees for years wonder if they have a job the next day. Too many lay offs every year. They hire their favorites from outside and then hire their children to work their as well. The Sales department need to learn how to sell instead of laying off the hard workers lay off the salesmen. Peoples paycheck always get messed up that is the fault of both corporate and local. Its been that way for years. Too much work load and not enough pay. The management have been hiring inexperienced people and paying them way more then the experiences employees.

    Advice to Management

The company itself is wonderful the management and the micromanagement is horrible. Europe really needs to come in and clean house.

    Pros

Some very great, knowledgeable employees. Great local management. Independent, business casual working environment.

    Cons

All talk and no action by Global Management. No one is held accountable for lack of performance, or rewarded for superior performance. Minimal raises and no bonuses. They don't pay well enough in some positions to hire qualified people, so everyone else suffers because of that incompetence. No career advancement in the U.S. They talk about values all the time - but it is just lip-service.

    Advice to Management

Appreciate your employees' work ethic and knowledge base. Reward them - before you lose even more great people to competitors.
