Decent pay for type of work you do (customer service)- too much work/stress.

    Pros

Pay, job stability due to the nature of the industry, benefits, work with nice ppl. Good bonuses. Clean office.

    Cons

Overworked, you are an "hourly" employee but you cant collect overtime when it is worked, culture is very serious- no joking around its a rather miserable enviornment. Old school approach to things, overly "professional". I wouldnt recommend to a friend because I wouldnt want them to be as stressed out as I was. Very demanding job, cant take a lunch break because it will put you behind and you wont be able to leave on time.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Smile-tell a joke you only live once. Give praise to employees, under staffed. Let employees leave an hour or two early if they have a dr app- dont make them use a vacation day... Coordinate out of work outings to boost morale, be appreciative just because you put in 50 hour weeks doesnt mean others should...

    Pros

Fun place to work with an endless amount of learning potential. People in leadership roles are very knowledgable and always more than happy to give guidance and input. There are many different departments and many locations, so there is more than enough potential to expand and move up if you're willing to put in the work. There are also many "as is" positions if that's more your thing as well.

    Cons

They have a "contract employee" trial period for most of the positions which can last anywhere from a year to up to 5 years. During that time you do not receive any of their benefits, raises or bonuses even though you receive the company emails every time a bonus or raise is given out with the dollar amount included. This is something that I feel decreases moral. You are also made aware of the fact that you are a contract employee on a regular basis, even if you're not a traditional contract employee (someone from another company coming in to repair something for example), when in fact you work for them, you have a position with them and you go to work for them every day.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Offer and make mandatory communication and management exercises to those who are put in positions that require them to communicate and delegate to other employees, and they are not actual managers or in lead positions. Having workshops and requiring readings from books such as "Fish" and "Carrot Sticks" or management modules, I feel would really benefit the overall environment.

    Pros

A good company tat has potential to be a great employer. Opportunity was abundant when first employed. the benefits package is OK. The Total Compensation Package is OK.

    Cons

A good company but it has its quirks and faults. The company is still a good boy company with lots of back scratching going on.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Learn from your mistakes. no more back scratching. Listen to your employees. You can be a great company if you go through with some changes and better benefits especially in the face of the record profits.
