Former Employee - I Prefer to Not Answer That Question

I worked at Holme Roberts & Owen LLP

    Pros

It provided a place to work in beautiful surroundings.

    Cons

It is all about how to get the dollar and who brings in the most clients; attorneys wokring their way up staying up all night as they neglect their home life and a family they provide for. It has no diversity, although they brag about how much they have. It is all white-collar snobs, with egos as big their pockets and narrow minded political views.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't lie about what is really going on within the company, and be up front about the financial stress.

Former Employee - Legal Secretary in Denver, CO

I worked at Holme Roberts & Owen LLP

    Pros

HRO offered an excellent benefit package

    Cons

HRO mismanaged money and people in a very catastrophic way. Unless management - the Executuive Committee and the CFO - are replaced (or at least held to a higher standard), I don't see how things can possibly turn around. HRO used to be a reputable name in the Denver legal community, but they have since become notorious for their mistreatment of employees.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice
