    Some times it seems that the nursing leadership is all about the publicity and how the nurses feel are secondary

    Pros

    Great training opportunities, competitive wages for the region. Upper management is built and runs upon Catholic values, and a generally caring atmosphere is created for the patients.

    Cons

    Middle management breaks everyone into cliques, and this tends to break everyone into small work groups which often become abusive of one another.

    Pros

    Home care: able to schedule visits independently, provided with ALL needed equipment to complete the job. Opportunities provided to interact with co-workers, training provided on new procedures and updates to policies or processes.

    Cons

    Not much room for advancement, tight deadlines for paperwork, considerable regulations for documentation

    Regularly recognize employees for doing their job well or according to company values, consider a promote from within option when possible - who expresses interest and cultivate the interest.
