    I have been working at Home Care Network

    Pros

    Even though we work at the home and not in a building with management, they are always available by phone 24/7. I feel confident that if I have any questions or problems that they will be appropriately taken care of.

    Cons

    The only real downside to working for Home Care Network is the amount of paperwork that is required. I feel that it takes a lot of time away with the clients.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Our management is great. They let you know when you have done a good job handeling something. I feel very comfortable asking any one of them to explain something to me if I do not fully understand something. They do not undermine you or degrade you by any means.

    Terrible, low pay constant turnover hard to get ahold of office staff. By far one of the worst places to work.

    Pros

    Lots of hours work close to home.

    Cons

    People in office loose time sheets.
    Difficult to get paid, pays are mailed.

    Hire better staff & cut down on the constant turnover so people can depend on their paychecks.

    money wasnt bad but they have since laid off many people and cut benefits

    Poor Management of finances, do not care about their employees

    Manage money better, make better business decisions, take time to really hear what your employees need/want, stop bragging and flaunting all the money you are spending on yourselves when you are cutting corners on employees, be part of the team!!!

    I have been working at Home Care Network part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    My clients have been wonderful and the hours fit my schedule. The pay is higher than larger home care agencies.

    Cons

    There are not many new cases and I just so happen to have a client move out of town and was not within distance to qualify for my cities HCN, been out of work for over a month and still waiting for a new client . I have traveled to a clients home over an hour from my home and no mileage reimbursement.

    Management is ok, they call back right away when you leave messages or point you in the right direction to speak to the appropriate person.
