    Pros

-Well paid for a summer job
-Management easy to get along with

    Cons

    -Long hours
    -Work weekends/holidays
-Little to no room for advancement

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Look to drivers for more input. Many of the company's drivers are college students studying business related fields that could have valuable input.

    Pros

Pay is around $800 biweekly for good routes and hot weather.

    Cons

Not hourly pay, sometimes 12-14 hours. Bad areas to drive in, lots of cash on hand.

    Pros

Easy-going plant managers, every day is different, a lot of hours, but with guaranteed pay, you can not sell a lot of product and still be paid (Pay is mostly based on commission).

    Cons

Long hours, outdated and basic equipment which has frequent malfunctions/ breakdowns, no A/C or radios (CB or AM/FM) in the truck which can make the day long and you need to use your own personal phones for work.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The trucks need to be updated at some locations, pay should be adjusted for larger regions, time and money is wasted on longer drive times to the beginning of the route (35-40+miles in my case) which adds a lot of time to the day versus cities which have max route radius of 20-30 miles.

Former Employee - Driver in Dayton, OH

    Pros

Good money in the summer months
Nobody watching over you when driving
The faster you work the earlier you get off
They work around your schedule well

    Cons

Hours can be pretty bad sometimes especially around holidays be prepared to work 15 hours day on memorial day weekend and 4th of july
Never know exactly when you will get off- one day may be 3 and the next 7
Comission based which can be really nice, but it sucks because you will be doing a lot of driving and the whole time you are receiving no money

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat the employees more fairly- we have lives outside of work i know it gets crazy in the summer, but coming in at 7a.m and not getting off till 9:30 and then having to be back again at 7a.m is extremely difficult and will/has caused drivers to fall asleep at the wheel or get into accidents
Also i think that drivers should receive an hourly rate on top of commission
Finally the prizes that are given away for working the holidays, there needs to be more given out the drivers make the company millions of dollars in the summer the least you can do is actually give us a chance to win a tv
