The system needs improving. The management has it's blinders on. They can see it is a different market than before. The "experts" are leading the company in the ground.

Pros
The company does a pretty good job of encouraging work/life balance. Most senior management does seem to care about the employees and their happiness at the company.
Cons
There is a cult-like element that I found disconcerting. All company meetings begin with group recitation of the company's "creed," and every meeting at some point sidetracks into discussion of the company's late founder and how amazing he was. At first I thought it was nice, but once I realized it was happening at every gathering, I found it maudlin and strange.
Advice to Senior Management
Look more to the future without dwelling so much on the past. Keep an eye on your middle management, their performance in terms of responsiveness and responsibility -- don't just keep people around for the sake of sentimentality or history with the company.
