    Cons

management in my experience is very poor and they like to take advantage of their employees. That's just my personal experience but then again I worked in one of the lowest ranked In the country.

I worked at Hooters full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Fun, strong management training program, support from area supervisor and director of operations. We were also consistently trained in time management and systems control.

    Cons

Bonus plan. Because the bonus plan was based on increases from the year before, at times you were at the mercy of rate increases on products or a drop in menu prices. These elements were out of the GM's control. The last couple of years subjective inspections were added to the bonus plans. Failing to reach a determined score on these inspections meant a deduction from the bonus.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Clear, reachable bonus plans. A plan that doesn't punish you for doing a great job the year before.

    Pros

The Training program is great. Generally, you are trained by a GM who actually does want to see you succeed.

    Cons

The pay is horrible for the hours required and there is SO MUCH micromanaging it takes away any sense of being a manager. You basically just run a shift.

I worked at Hooters part-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Meet good friends from the other hooter's girls that work there. Good food, always meeting new people. Kick back and chill work environment.

    Cons

Terrible management, sexual harassment, unlawful working conditions, management doesn't appreciate the hooter girls and we are the reason the business exist.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat your hooter girls better. Stop hiring pervert managers, managers who were former porn stars and drug addicts. Respect your employees before you start complaining about how well they are working. This company would be so much better if the hooter girls the brand of the company were not treated as disposable. This company needs to re-evaluate the Hooters brand and do a major overhaul..

    I worked at Hooters

    Pros

Tips where great but thata the only good thing I got from that hell hole!

    Cons

I worked at hooters for 6 years working my way up from waitress to regional manager and if it wasn't for God and my family, I would have continued in the Wings over Texas family and died of an overdose. They promote drugs, prostitution and distribution of narcotics to their employees from week 1. And no its not just a few bad apples...it's the owners of ALL the Hooters in Texas.....I have the proof....keep your daughters away from working there at all costs!
