I have been working at Horizon House
Pros – it's a very friendly atmosphere that promotes professional growth in terms of education and promoting from within. They have a number of discounts for employees as well as offering vendor sales that include payroll deduction.
Cons – It's a fast paced environment with daily changes and sometimes it can be a little disorganized trying to implement plans.
Advice to Senior Management – Keep doing what you are doing we are in a budget crunch and they managed to keep everyone working in my department.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend

I have been working at Horizon House full-time for more than 10 years
Pros – HH has excellent time off benefits. Tuition reimbursement ( only 2,000 a year and after tax 1700) not much but better than nothing. You also to give a year of service after getting reimbursement and I think it has increased. CEO very nice and approachable. Has monthly CEO meetings with employees.
Cons – Some of the downsides of working at HH are the human resource is useless, they claim they promote from within but seen many qualified people replaced by outsiders. Very high co-pay for medical and out of pocket expense if hospitalized. They have a waiting list for parking, which is a joke. Salaries are ok but could be better.
Advice to Senior Management – Upper management need to keep an eye on HR. When there is an issue addressed at the CEO meetings, employees need to get an update. Keep doing the CEO meetings that's a plus. Really hire from within and promote good workers
