I have been working at Horseshoe Gaming full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Great experience. Availability to move around the country as you climb the latter. Its a fast paced environment.

    Cons

Its very stressful. Crazy work schedule. You are on your feet 8 or more hours a day, 5 days a week. No paid holidays. Its rare to have a weekend day off.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Rotate schedules so all employees are able to have one full weekend off a month. Pay your employees holiday pay!

    Pros

    fun job, great coworkers, blah

    Cons

management sucks, very low staffing leads to one person doing several jobs at same time. management shows favoritism all the time.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

start listening to your workers and stop thinking you know it all. also look at a persons work not and not judge them on looks or clothes.

    I worked at Horseshoe Gaming

    Pros

income due to the fact they do start you at a relatively good wage in surveilance but other positions its lower,

    Cons

you will be demeaned by management , the disturbing amount of bugs, spidersm and mice, the management could care less about your feelings or how much you commit to the employment you will never be compensated, they make you feel like you are a pc of garbage

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

dont sit in your office all day doing absolutly nothing , please get out and show that you actually work at the compant also

    I worked at Horseshoe Gaming

    Pros

the company made you feel good about being part of a new upcoming casino, great benefit package and great location

    Cons

gave us hope for an excited place to work at and that we are mainly there to entertain however once they open to the public after a month management started to change, rules began to be place that was never spoke, points, suspension and a lot of firing. The environment became a place where you felt t you have already serve 40 years plus there and that management was becoming tired of their jobs and so have you

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

trust people that serve the company, corporate workers is not always right, they hide and try to cover up their mistake while the dedicated worker loss their job, sense of well being, and wworkmenship
