    Pros

No shortage of challenges or opportunities for those willing to dive in, wide variety of different products, including pharma and device products.

    Cons

Culture is not great and there is a disconnect between corporate and site functions.

    Advice to Management

Work to set the sites up for success by more clearly aligning goals and cutting through red tape. The current level of bureaucracy really inhibits improvement efforts.

    Pros

With the right management you finally get noticed and can advance. People that suck up have gotten their way in the past. New management can see through this.

    Cons

New Quality personal are the least trained and are making too many important decisions. Management doesn't always listen to the common employee.

    Advice to Management

    Listen to the experienced people.

    I worked at Hospira

    Pros

Good pay and safe facility. On-site cafeteria. Very clean. Diverse employee population. People from all over the world.

    Cons

If you are use to getting out of the office at lunch, forget about that here. By the time you walk out of the plant and hire to your car lunch is over. If you don't know anybody already employed there when you start, you will always be considered an outsider. There were a lot of days that no one in the dept I worked in spoke to me and I sat beside the dept door and the copier. A lot of arrogant people there.

    Advice to Management

There is nothing that can be done there.
