    Most people working hard and show great attitude.

    Profit sharing (though not impressive)
    Upper management invests about company growth

    Cons

    Medical benefits could be better
    IT support sucks
    Merit increase small
    Many good people leave
    New-hires get only 2 week VAC time for first 5 years
    Need to use VAC time for sick kid days
    Overall company feels greedy

    I worked at Hospira

    Pros

    Great salary and benefit, great group of R&D engineers and managers to work with, excellent operation (manufacturing) department, nice travel benefit, great leadership (director and above) in San Jose, California.

    Cons

    Unfair device quality department in Lake Forest and San Diego which promoted people with no appropriate competency and push aside employee who has high achievement and contribution to the company

    Hospira is going places with great people in a great location.
    Casual atmoshpere with focus on what is needed to get it done

    Cons

    at times fast paced, FDA controlled, drug company culture is difficult to work with, but employees work hard to produce

    People with good intentions. Good future for the company if they work in making processes leaner and stronger

    Cons

    Culture does not seem to promote efficiency. Little investment in people. New employees are expected to be productive from day one, and little training.

    Invest in People Development, this is what distinguish a great company from a so so. Implement Lean in non manufacturing areas to make business more efficient

    A lot of different IT initiatives being implemented to make Hospira even more competitive in the generic market. Strength in biosimilars could be a competitive advantage in the future.

    In IT there is a very bland company culture, trouble finishing project on schedule
