    Ok place for a nurse

    RN (Current Employee)

ProsPTO is decent. Self scheduling and only working three days a week. Computerized charting. Continuing education is paid for and mandatory.

ConsShort staffed. Budget cuts means sending staff home and cancelled staff meetings. Says they are transparent but always in the dark. Will be coming up on a year as a RN in July hoping for a yearly raise but others say it won't happen.

Advice to Senior ManagementDon't claim to be transparent and then keep everyone in the dark. Spend more time and effort on staffing and increasing safety for patient care rather than just making the hospital look nice.

Constoo far away from my home

    Definitely not the best...

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsTeamwork, great staff, management actually listens and tries to take action with your concerns.

ConsPTO hours are minimal. No company paid holidays or sick days. They make you use your PTO for any days you take off...holiday, sick, etc.

Great Coworkers, not so great atmosphere

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee) Overland Park, KS

Pros- Hard working, loyal team of coworkers
    - Facility is expanding to cover more of market share
    - New equipment being employed to make work run smoother

Cons- Employment hours based on number of patients. Full time workers losing hours due to flexing. This has been ongoing for over 2 years
    - Management focus is on productivity, not patient care
    - Benefits are pricey

Advice to Senior Management- Make sure your words match up to your actions
    - Allow path for employees to grow within their profession. Just offering a reimbursement for tuition is not a path
    - Listen to your employees, then occasionally act on their suggestions

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

    Company way or the highway

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee) Dallas, TX

ProsI enjoy the people I work with.

ConsLow salary for non clinical staff. If you are not a doctor or nurse there is no way you can afford medical coverage for you & your family. Very pricey health insurance biweekly rate. Annual raise is a joke.

Advice to Senior ManagementListen to your employees. Increase salary. Employees will give you a 110% everyday if a company do the same. Stop demanding things from employees that you are not will to give yourself.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
