Former Employee – worked at Hotel Bethlehem full-time for more than a year
Pros – Easy work, meet people from all over the world, wear an old-time outfit
Cons – Standing outside with nothing to do, extreme temperatures, no room for advancement
Advice to Senior Management – Pay attention to what goes on below the upper management level.

Current Employee – been working at Hotel Bethlehem
Pros – considerate of workers, family type atmosphere, ability to advance based on competency and willingness to work hard, compensation above the rest of the market, one can take great pride in working there, one can learn a lot
Cons – sometimes too political, long hours and dedication absolutely necessary, sometimes takes employees for granted, must put work before family, expectations of employees very high compared to market

Current Employee – been working at Hotel Bethlehem
Pros – By showing competence and motivation (or just common sense) you can stand out from the crowd. Lower level management is in touch with workers.
Fast pace atmosphere (nights, weekends) is a plus.
Not like any job in the industry- the historic charm is there.
Not like working at a chain hotel.
Cons – Upper management is often ill-informed when it comes to the in's and out's and the daily activities of many employees.
Advice to Senior Management – There is a large number college graduates working at the Hotel as a "filler" job between their career. The Hotel's management would be well served by asking employees for feedback and a role in decision making. A collaborative approach between all levels of employees and management would positively affect the hotel.
