    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at Hotel Gansevoort full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

If you're senior you get to use hotel facilities, don't pay in the restaurant, drink for free and get dry cleaning. If you're not you're not even allowed on-property if you're not working.

    Cons

A rich kid started this company with his dad's money and got lucky. He should not be managing the property and his entire team are sycophants / corrupt / borderline shady folks.

    Advice to Management

Get a real professional to run your properties and focus on revitalizing your decor updated from 1995.

  2. Very sketchy

I worked at Hotel Gansevoort full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Work with a cool brand, puppies in office

    Cons

Sketchy girls who gossip all day long and only actually work 3 hours a day (feels like a high school cafeteria). Purposely answer calls for themselves, just to say that she is not in the office. CEO, Michael Achenbaum is extremely aggressive, curses, sketchy deals always being made. He thinks he's hot stuff, but not attractive whatsoever (probably on steroids). overall very poor company structure.

    Advice to Management

Wouldn't want to build a career with this "organization." HR doesn't do anything/care about internal issues

  3. My experience was not as challenging as I expected.
