I have been working at House of Hope
Pros – Great Experience, lots of responsibility. Direct work with forensic dual diagnosis drug and alcohol clients. Tremendous experience with one-on-one intakes and counseling. Lead daily therapeutic group sessions. Lead daily therapeutic education; syllabus/course materials are provided, so class preparation is minimized; however, to make the classes fun, it takes thought and prep time. It is possible to work with senior staff in developing relevant programming, Very fair management.
Cons – Long Hours for the pay. High client to staff ratio, high demands from needy client population. Lots and lots of paperwork.
Advice to Senior Management – Rresponsive, great about continuing education, diversity.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
