Advice to Senior Management
Localization is very important. Documentation must be greatly improved to compete with other vendors such as Cisco and Juniper. Thanks.
Pros
Good Pay, variable component is always paid, and increased bonuses as you go up the ladder.
Job rotation is taken up seriously
Excellent place for freshers to learn - cases reported that ex-freshers with 2 yrs are taken in by competitors without even interviews!
Cons
Management needs a reality check in terms of treating people
Facilities are still stuck in the 18th century - there needs to be a great revolution to bring about a change.

Cons
There isn't much work life balance. it's pretty much work work work, so if you are into that type of role, then go for it. From a cultural stand point, it is definitely more Chinese as it is an Asian firm.
Advice to Senior Management
More work life balance would suit employees well. Also, more north american born senior leaders can also be helpful in helping new employees to adapt.
Pros
Great company globally, product portfolio is 2nd to no other company, long term future to hire US employees very high
Cons
company culuture is very international, this is a local / global company
Pros
It has a lot of projects
Cons
Lack of organization inside the company
Advice to Senior Management
Internal communication have to be improved
Pros
Lots of opportunities to get involved in multiple range of project in short period of time. Fast moving business, aggressive marketplace . Good place for people with no / little experience.
Cons
No chances of career growth. Local management has no power of decision/ execution due to Heavily centralization on Headquarters. No localization according to marketplace. HQ expects every region to be handled like a third world country for both employees and customers. Low Business ethics, employees are expected to provide confidential information from previous employers, or friends working at competitors. Chinese Management motivates employees based on fear. Public Humiliation is documented as a punishment for violation of rules.
Advice to Senior Management
Need to Listen to employees experience dealing with Local Market. North American market will not adjust to the chinese way of doing business.
Pros
Good Place for Freshers to Learn, test & enhance their skills.
You can be an asset for any other company if you have worked in Huawei for 2 to 3 Years
Salary OK, Very Aggressive in Marketing their own Products
Cons
Very Poor work life Balance.
Not Good for experienced people, slow growth in mid level Management.
Poor Project Planning, Average Managers, Unrealistic Schedules.
Advice to Senior Management
Primarily driven by Decisions from HQ( China), Very Little control with Indian Management.
