I worked at Human Genome Sciences as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

Highly qualified team, exciting project opportunities, good management

    Cons

GSK partner was significantly more conservative

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Better coordination of interns. Way too many undergrad interns compared to graduate level interns. Would have preferred distinguishing between the 2.

I worked at Human Genome Sciences full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Great co-workers, developing products that had the potential to significantly improve patient health, opportunity to be involved in health authority interactions as a relatively new hire.

    Cons

Although HR and senior management were aware - as a result of a large number of exit interviews - at least one management person was not suited to the role and would have been better off without direct reports.
