I have been working at Humana full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Company values, leadership model and intentions are wonderful. The talent acquisition strategy to bring in unique skills to help move the business in the right direction is terrific. The company is starting to embrace an agile work environment, which helps with work/life balance.

    Cons

Middle Management is a huge barrier. High performers are repeatedly tapped to do the majority of the work, still too many "command-and-control" leaders running key areas of the business that are undergoing massive transformation.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Flexibility to post for new positions after 6-months, instead of the current 12-months. Need to allow individuals to seek out cultural fit across lines of business.

I have been working at Humana full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

    Good benefits and pays ok.

    Cons

Constant watching over employees like children. It's almost like spying. Better not leave one minute prior to your work hours are over. Very punitive environment and culture.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Look at how hard your employees work and stop paying so much attention to the little small things that don't matter either way.
