Pros
They will hire anyone who wants a job. There is no experience necessary. They are not strict about if you miss some days of work
Cons
Bad work hours, poor management, no benefits, no trust for their employees, lots of stupid rules to follow for this job.
Advice to Senior Management
I don't really have any feedback for the management at Huntleigh USA. They know everything that I have already stated.
Pros
Great job if retired and looking for something to fill your time and are not interested in making this your career
Cons
No raises or promotions are ever going to happen unless the law increases minimum wage. Do not expect them you will be disappointed.
Advice to Senior Management
You should consider dividing the work load of upper management into more levels to enable more effective completion of tasks.
Pros
The best part about working this job was that I got to interact with various persons, as this job is located at Boston International Airport. So, there was a social aspect that made the job more entertaining.
The pay is $10.00 an hr, so it is not bad for people who have only a HS diploma or GED.
Average of about three breaks averaging out to 3 hrs.
Cons
This job has a very high turn over rate, as people have gotten fired without significant or just reasoning.
While the job is called Cleaning and Security, you will be mostly cleaning, which includes doing the restroom/crew room, first class and so forth.
Advice to Senior Management
They need to be more receptive to what employees have to say and take it into consideration, instead of dismissing employees' opinions or perspectives.
They need to be less bias when making decisions, such as promoting people because their friends or get along. I seen that happen a lot. Out of all the leads, only one was very hard working and a quick thinker, if issues rised.
They need to make sure supervisors/leads are qualified and fair for the job.
Pros
You have a nice view of the airport.
You get to do jobs you never thought you signed on for.
They can't take much else away from you.
Cons
Low pay
Almost no chance of advancement
No benefits
Poor communication between leadership and crew
Mandatory overtime
Seniority means almost nothing
Advice to Senior Management
Pay your employees what they are worth, or you can expect more of the same low quality performance. The job is not worth caring about, and the employees all know it. Treat them as you want yourself to be treated.
