I have been working at Hy-Vee part-time (less than a year)

    Pros

    Friendly and enthusiastic atmosphere.
Sufficient breaks. Two paid 15s and an unpaid 30.
Flexible scheduling. Usually three ten hour shifts every week. Half shifts can be arranged.
You can buy fresh food to eat on your break.

    Cons

In the winter, trucks can be delayed for 12 hours or more. You may be asked to work during the day.
The training that you receive is not very consistent. It never comes from a manager and everyone seems to have a different idea of what official policy is.

I have been working at Hy-Vee part-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Amazing place to work really fun. Managers and coworkers are really nice. Hours are very flexible ,if you were to want vacation there is pretty much a 100% chance you get it. there is never a stale moment there is always something to do.

    Cons

Wages are not always the best, they tend to hire new employees with higher wages which is very frustration. There are some managers(1) that are rude sometimes and are very opinionated which is very annoying and gets in the way of complete work

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

there is more than one way to do something the right way!
