    I have been working at Hyatt full-time (less than a year)


    Great benefits, friendly company atmosphere, ethical business practices.


    Requires you to be extremely flexible for schedules which come on a weekly basis and never provide consistent shift hours, full time employees become party time when slow, and are understaffed when busy which causes job to be very stressful! Management is hostile towards staff and likes to belittle members with names like "dumb and dumber" or sexual and or racial slurs I wont write here. Management also likes to constantly threat firing in order to motivate employees.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Follow corporate guidelines toward training and use slow time to cross train associates as well as give associates more consistent shifts/ days off. Management needs to take some of their great customer service skills and apply it to managing employees to stop the high turnover rate.
